

About Kristiana
Kristiana joins Hamptons Swim (city edition) this season with more than 12 years of swimming instruction and 18 years of lifeguarding. Kristiana holds a BM in Musical Theater and loves to encourage her students to have fun while learning.
With a strong athletic background in competitive swimming, varsity soccer, and dance, Kristiana is a well-rounded athlete who values the benefits of living an active lifestyle. So much so, she decided to obtain her personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) alongside her Water Safety Instruction Certification (WSI) and recently acquired her Corrective Exercise Specialist Certification (CES) in order to share her love of fitness with the world.
Kristiana teaches all ages and all levels. She fosters and values a safe, caring, patient, inclusive environment for learning. She is passionate about cultivating smart, well-rounded exercisers and imparting her wisdom to empower and encourage clients on their fitness/swim journey.

About Darren
Darren has over 10 years of experience as a swim instructor and swim coach. Teaching lessons to swimmers of all ages and abilities, from infants to adults.
Before moving to New York, Darren worked as a Special Education Instructional Assistant for Seattle Public Schools for 2.5 years. He also spent nine months in France working as an English language teaching assistant in a high school outside of Paris. Darren swam club throughout high school, and swam and ran track at the Division 3 level at Pitzer College. He graduated from Pitzer with a BA in History. In his spare time he's probably at Rockaway Beach surfing, boogie boarding and bodysurfing.
Darren loves to teach swimming because he believes that learning to swim and knowledge of water safety are integral life skills that one is never too old or too young to learn.

About Alexandros
Alexandros is originally from Greece. He moved to the NYC 7 years ago to pursue studies in Psychology and Neuroscience at the City University of New York. He is passionate about empowering and guiding people to actualize their own potential whether he’s in the pool or just in life outside of fitness. Alexandros has been working as a swimming instructor and fitness coach since 2014.
What he loves the most while teaching in the pool is helping young kids and adults overcome fear of the water and revealing its healing benefits for your body and soul. He also started surfing in the last couple of years, and has relocated in Rockaway beach, just a block away from the ocean.

About Max
Max is an experienced swim instructor with over 13 years teaching in pool. Max teaches swim lessons full time up island and is excited to come down to the Hamptons to teach this summer. Whether it's in the pool or ocean, he loves being in the water. Working with clients of all ages and children with special needs, Max is the perfect instructor for any students.
Coached through Liz Parry’s play-based methods, he is trained to provide unique, fun, and customized lessons to swimmers of all ages. Hamptons Swim is excited to have Max on the team as a private instructor.
Through technical study and mentorship under Hamptons Swim, Max is an experienced swimmer who is both knowledgeable and eager to share his love for the water.
