Fall Activities for Kids in the Hamptons + NYC

Summer may be over, but there’s still plenty to do in the Hamptons and NYC! We’ve rounded up some of our favorite fall activities for kids to enjoy this season.



HAMPTONS


240 Montauk Hwy Water Mill


They have a market with apple cider and seasonal treats, a corn maze, pumpkin picking, and plenty of other activities for the whole family.


50 Horsemill Ln Water Mill


Pick your own apples, pumpkins, and sunflowers, and stop by for fresh cookies, muffins, and other seasonal treats.


  1. Seven Ponds Orchard

    65 Seven Ponds Rd Water Mill


Enjoy classic fall fun with apple and pumpkin picking, a corn maze, hayrides and cow train rides, fresh produce, cider and donuts, and freshly baked pies.


19 Horsemill Ln Bridgehampton


Enjoy a day on the farm with a corn maze, corn cannon, pumpkin picking, and fresh-made treats from the concession stand.


743 Montauk Hwy Montauk


Held on October 10 + 11 in 2026, celebrate fall at the Montauk Town Green with live music, local vendors, a clam chowder contest (Saturday only), pumpkins, bounce houses, and plenty of activities for kids.


Southampton Village


Now in its 13th year, SouthamptonFest brings a weekend of art, fashion, live music, a farmers market, hayrides, pumpkins, a children’s scavenger hunt and activities, sidewalk sales, and more.



NYC


  1. Halloween Harvest at Luna Park

September 19-November 1, 2026


Luna Park’s 14th annual fall festival brings family-friendly Halloween fun to Coney Island with festive décor, pumpkin decorating, trick-or-treating, tractor racing, and more. Families can enjoy the seasonal activities alongside the park’s rides throughout the fall.


October 18, 2026


The annual Harvest Fest offers plenty of fall fun with pumpkin picking and decorating, arts and crafts, a Spooky Trail, and more. Families can also enjoy a live concert with Patrick and the Rock-a-Silly Band.


September 26-November 1


Boo at the Zoo brings family-friendly Halloween fun to the Bronx Zoo with wildlife experiences, a hay maze and challenge trail, Boo Carnival, and more. The daytime celebration is perfect for younger children and is included with zoo admission.


August 30-November 1


Explore New York City’s only corn maze at the Queens County Farm Museum, featuring three acres of towering corn stalks. Follow clues, solve puzzles, and find your way to Victory Bridge for a view of the entire maze.


October 3-November 2, 2026


Celebrate Día de los Muertos at the New York Botanical Garden with vibrant marigolds, festive pumpkins, music, and weekend crafts. The celebration also includes a Día de los Muertos parade on November 1.


Starts the first weekend in October, 2026


Enjoy classic fall fun at Decker Farm with pumpkin picking and painting, hayrides, pumpkin chucking, festive photo ops, and seasonal treats. Grab cider, donuts, pumpkin pie, and more while spending the day on the farm.
