About Sophia

Sophia is an experienced swimmer, instructor, and educator based in East Hampton, New York.

A five-year Division I swimmer, Sophia brings an elite level of technical skill, discipline, and competitive experience to every lesson she teaches. Sophia has spent eight summers as an ocean lifeguard, developing strong instincts for water safety, awareness, and rescue readiness.

Sophia holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Elementary Education, giving her a unique ability to connect with young swimmers and adapt her teaching style to each individual’s learning needs.

• Masters degree in Elementary Education

• 5 year Division l Swimmer

• 8 years as an Ocean Lifeguard

• 5 years experience teaching swim lessons
