Maya grew up in East Quogue and has been a pool and Ocean Lifeguard for over 5 years. She is beginning her third year with Hamptons Swim, having previously worked at Future Stars Camp, where she taught swim lessons to children across a wide range of ages and ability levels.
Maya is currently pursuing her degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with a special passion for working with children and individuals on the autism spectrum.
As a woman who grew up surfing and swimming in the waters of the East End, Maya brings an authentic love of the water to everything she does. Maya is excited to share her enthusiasm with students of all ages, creating a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment in and out of the water.
