​Maya grew up in East Quogue and has been a pool and Ocean Lifeguard for over 5 years. She is beginning her third year with Hamptons Swim, having previously worked at Future Stars Camp, where she taught swim lessons to children across a wide range of ages and ability levels.

Maya is currently pursuing her degree in Speech-Language Pathology, with a special passion for working with children and individuals on the autism spectrum.

 

As a woman who grew up surfing and swimming in the waters of the East End, Maya brings an authentic love of the water to everything she does.​ Maya is excited to share her enthusiasm  with students of all ages, creating a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment in and out of the water.
