About Emma

Emma grew up in Babylon and joined her first swim team at just 6 years old and quickly developed a lifelong love for the water which inspired her passion for helping others learn to swim safely, build confidence, and have fun in the water!

Emma has been teaching swim lessons and has worked with students ranging from 6 months to 70 years old. She has experience teaching swimmers of all skill levels, abilities, and learning styles. One of her favorite parts of teaching is adapting her instruction to meet each student’s individual needs.

Outside of the pool, Emma is currently studying biology and genetics as a pre-med student with a strong interest in pediatric medicine. She also has extensive experience working with children in a variety of settings, including volunteer work with the child life program at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital. Through this work, she has developed a deeper understanding of how to support and connect with children by recognizing and adapting to their unique personalities, needs, and learning styles.
