With a lifelong passion for the water, Allison brings both experience and enthusiasm to
every swim lesson. She swam competitively from ages 10–18 and spent 15 years
coaching competitive swimmers of all ages and skill levels. Her extensive knowledge of
freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke allows her to help swimmers build
confidence and a love for swimming.

In addition to her background in swimming, Allison is a kindergarten teacher on the
island, bringing patience, positivity, and a nurturing approach to her instruction. She
believes learning to swim should be both safe and fun, and she enjoys helping each
swimmer progress at their own pace.

When she’s not teaching, you can usually find her in the pool, swimming in the ocean,
or out on her paddleboard enjoying island life all summer long.
