Jacklyn grew up spending the summers in East Hampton with her grandparents and her passion for teaching started when she was young. She is a certified health and physical education teacher and while she was in college she had the opportunity to teach swim lessons to people with different abilities. She has also been a varsity track and field coach for 3 years.

Jacklyn received her health and physical education degree from East Stroudsburg University. She is currently pursuing her graduate degree from Russell Sage College with a focus on Coaching and Mental Performance.
